AMD's Fusion chips


AMD began shipments today of its first Fusion product which put processors and graphics chips on one piece of silicon. Computers based the Fusion chips will go sale in early 2011.
AMD was founded just a year after Intel. It has less than 20% of the global pc processor market.
Last year revenues of AMD was around $5.4 billion. That was 7 times smaller than Intel's revenues.
Now, the question for AMD is that will they be able to meet the deadlines and deliver the products on time.

Mail.ru Group Ltd., went public


Russia's Mail.ru surged as much as 41% in London Stock Market in the first day of the trading since this morning. They raised $912 million. This is the biggest IPO in the City since July.
They sold 32.9 million GDR at $27.70 each.
Money they raised through IPO will mainly be spend on acquiring the Russia's number one Social Network vKontakte.ru.
Mail.ru owns 2.4% of Facebook, 5.1% of Groupon, 1.5% of Zynga Game Network Inc.
Mail.ru revenues are expected to increase to $301 million and earnings before tax will rise 70% reaching to $104 million this year.

Samsung is the biggest gainer in the Smartphone market


Samsung Smartphones saw the biggest growth among the top 5 vendors. Their smartphone sales five folded. Samsung sales mainly boosted by Galaxy S Smartphone lines.
Experts say smartphones will account more than 20% of all devices by the end of the year.
According to the IDC 81.1 million smartphones sold just in the third quarter of the current year.
The overall mobile phone market grew 14.6% reaching to 340.5 million units.
